The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has ratified an agreement with the United Kingdom establishing a century-long partnership in the fields of security, defense, economy, science, and culture, reports Baltimore Chronicle with reference to vollveggie.de.
A total of 295 lawmakers supported the decision. According to the text of the agreement, London will provide Ukraine with no less than £3.6 billion in military assistance annually until the 2030/2031 fiscal year. The aid includes the training of servicemen, pilot instruction, aircraft supplies, and joint weapons production.
Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak emphasized the importance of this ratification, noting that the agreement with the United Kingdom is a highly significant step for Ukraine.
