President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is expected to hold a meeting with lawmakers from the ruling Servant of the People faction between October 6 and October 10. The information was confirmed by the faction’s spokesperson, Yulia Paliychuk, reports Baltimore Chronicle, citing Interfax-Ukraine.
According to Paliychuk, the decision to schedule the meeting for early October was agreed upon during the previous faction session that also included the president. She emphasized that this had already been announced publicly.
The spokesperson highlighted that such gatherings are not convened at Zelensky’s demand but rather take place based on mutual agreements between parliament members and the head of state. At the September meeting, the president stressed the importance of maintaining regular communication with the parliamentary faction, recommending that these meetings occur at least once a month.
Paliychuk also clarified that no personnel changes are currently on the agenda, and therefore, discussions about reshuffling government officials or other appointments are not expected during the upcoming session.
