Social web service Pinterest has published its annual Pinterest Predicts™ 2026 report, outlining global trends that, according to the company, will shape style, consumption, and visual preferences in the coming year, reports Baltimore Chronicle, with reference to the official Pinterest Predicts 2026 report. The analysis draws on billions of user searches, content saves, and predictive algorithms that highlight growing interest in specific aesthetics worldwide.
According to the report, a cool color palette is at the forefront, reflected in the Cool Blue trend, encompassing fashion, accessories, makeup, and visual elements across categories. Searches for glacier aesthetic increased by 35%, icy blue by 50%, and frosted makeup by 150%, demonstrating the rising popularity of icy tones.
Among the new beauty trends is glitch glam beauty — asymmetric makeup and “broken” lines creating experimental looks. In men’s fashion, Brooched is gaining traction, emphasizing vintage brooches and statement accessories for a maximalist style. In the poetic aesthetic segment, poetcore continues to grow — inspired by literary romance, it features neutral textures, voluminous jackets, and vintage accessories.
Gothic influences are also highlighted: Vamp Romantic combines dark makeup, deep-toned eyeshadows, and dramatic visual accents. The fragrance trend Scent Stacking, which encourages creating layered, personalized perfume combinations, is also on the rise.
In home decor, Pinterest spotlights trends such as FunHaus — circus-inspired interiors with graphic patterns and accent shapes; Afrohemian Decor — a mix of Boho style with African textile motifs; Neo Deco — modern interpretations of Art Deco; and Extra Celestial — futuristic cosmic designs with opalescent surfaces.
In lifestyle, there is a revival of letter writing (Pen Pals) and culinary interest in Cabbage Crush — dishes featuring cabbage are emerging as a new culinary trend for 2026.
The report includes 21 trends, each showing strong growth in user engagement. According to Pinterest, these trends are expected to shape fashion, creativity, and consumption habits worldwide in 2026.
