The races will take place January 4–7, 2024.
The Ukrainian men's biathlon team has named its lineup for the fourth stage of the 2023/24 World Cup in Oberhof, Germany.
As the head coach of the “blue-yellows” Juraj Sanitra said in a comment to Suspilna Sport, the national team’s application will include Dmitry Pidruchny, Artem Prima, Anton Dudchenko, Vitaly Mandzyn and Artem Tishchenko.
Note that 20-year-old Mandzyn received his debut call-up in the current World Cup season. In December he competed at the IBU Cup and broke personal bests at this level four times.
Artem Tishchenko and Denis Nasyko were vying for the last, fifth place in the lineup – based on the results of the Ukrainian Championship, which ended last week, the coaching staff made a choice in favor of Artem.
The World Cup in Oberhof will take place from 4 to 7 January 2024. Its program includes sprints, pursuit races and classic relays.
