Mauricio Pochettino's men managed to put the finishing touches on Crystal Palace.

Chelsea, led by Ukrainian winger Mikhail Mudryk, beat Crystal Palace in the home match of the 19th round of the English Premier League (EPL) . The match at the Stamford Bridge stadium in London ended with a score of 2:1 .

The home team took the lead in the 13th minute – Mudryk sent the ball into the net from outside the penalty area after a cross from the left flank from Malo Gusto.

This is Mudryk's third goal this Premier League season. The Ukrainian also has one assist.

After the goal, the Blues continued to attack and seemed to be in control of the game. However, just before the whistle for the break, the “eagles” unexpectedly made a comeback – in the 45th+1st minute, Mikael Olise took advantage of Jordan Ayu’s pass and hit the “pensioners” goal.

In the second half, Mauricio Pochettino's men tried to snatch victory. In the 77th minute of the match, Nicholas Jackson completed a cross from the right flank from Thiago Silva, but the referee, after VAR intervention, canceled the goal due to offside.

However, at the end of the match the Chelsea players managed to score the decisive goal. In the 88th minute, Eberechi Eze brought down Noni Madueke in his own penalty area and the victim himself fired the penalty into the left corner.

Note that Mudryk entered the field in the starting lineup and played 71 minutes. The Ukrainian was replaced by Armando Brou immediately after he was thrown out of bounds with a hard foul. Mikhail was probably injured.
