Dynamo beat Metalist 1925 in the match of the 18th round of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL). The match at the Valeriy Lobanovsky Stadium in Kyiv ended with the score 2:4.
Kharkovites took the lead in the very opening of the game. In the 5th minute, Denis Garmash, in his debut official match for Metalist 1925, hit the goal of his former club with a shot from outside the penalty area.
At the end of the first half, the “white-blues” got even – in the 43rd minute, Vladislav Kabaev shot accurately from outside the penalty area into the upper near corner.
In the second half, Alexander Shovkovsky's team took the lead – Vladislav Vanat scored in the 62nd minute, and seven minutes later Vitaly Buyalsky.
In the 72nd minute, Viktor Skripnik’s team, for whom this was the first match as the head coach of the Kharkov club, reduced the gap – immediately after coming on as a substitute, the winter newcomer scored Raymond Owusu.
However, the last word in this match was the people of Kiev – in the 76th minute Vanat scored a double.
