Anastasia Merkushina showed the best result among Ukrainians.

On Saturday, On March 2, at the seventh stage of the Biathlon World Cup 2023/24 in Golmenkollen, Norway, a women's race with a mass start took place.

Ukraine was represented in it by two participants: Yulia Jima and Anastasia Merkushina .

The best among the Ukrainians was Merkushina, who finished 27th with three penalty laps. Jima made five mistakes and took 29th place.

The Swiss Lena Hecky-Gross won the mass start. She shared the podium with the French – Julia Simone was second, and Lou Jeanmonnot completed the top three.

Note that on March 2, a men’s mass start will also take place in Holmenkollen, the race starts at 16:20 Kyiv time.

On Sunday, March 3, the Norwegian stage will end with the single and classic mixed relays.
