The Ukrainian teamwon the first gold at the 2024 European Championship in bullet shooting, which takes place in Győr, Hungary.
Elena Kostevich and Oleg Omelchuk won the air pistol shooting among mixed teams at a distance of 10 meters.
The Ukrainian duo defeated the Austrian tandem Silvia Steiner/Rickard Zechmeister in the final with a score of 17:11.
Let us note that Kostevich and Omelchuk won gold at the European Championship for the second time in the team mixed tournament in air pistol shooting. Previously, they jointly became champions in 2019 in Osijek, Croatia.
For Kostevich, this is the seventh “gold” of the continental championship in her career. Omelchuk won the title of European champion for the fourth time.
