Bogdan Vjunnik decided to continue his career with Lechia Gdansk.
The Ukrainian striker of Shakhtar Donetsk Bogdan Viunnik became a player of the Polish Lechia.
The Gdansk club announced the signing of the 21-year-old Ukrainian on its official website.
It is reported that Vyunnik moved to Lechia as a free agent. Before this, he terminated his contract with Shakhtar ahead of schedule.
Bogdan’s agreement with the Polish team runs until June 30, 2028.
This season Vyunik played six matches for Shakhtar in the championship Ukraine, scored one goal and gave two assists.
The last time he took the field as part of the Donetsk club was back on September 16, 2023 in the UPL match against Obolon.
Vyunik became the fourth Ukrainian football player in Lechia. His compatriots Maxim Chlan, Bohdan Sarnavsky and Ivan Zhelizko are already playing for this team.
Note that Lechia is now in second place in the second strongest division of Poland and is vying for promotion.
We would like to remind you that last summer Vyunnik, as a member of the Ukrainian youth team (U-21), reached the semi-finals of the Youth Euro 2023, thanks to which our national team for the first time in history made it to the Olympic Games.
