The Ukrainian team finished ninth in the final men's relay of the Biathlon World Cup season
On Friday, March 8, the eighth stage of the Biathlon World Cup 2023/24 in the American Salt Lake City began with the men's relay race.
Ukrainian the team was represented by Artem Prima, Dmitry Pidruchny, Vitaly Mandzyn and Anton Dudchenko. The “blue-yellows” reached the finish line ninth.
The first stage of Prima passed without additional ammunition and passed the baton to the fourth. At the second stage, Pidruchny used one additional cartridge and raised the Ukrainian team to second place.
But the next two stages turned out to be not so successful for our team. At the third stage, Mandzyn went to the penalty loop during standing shooting, as a result of which he passed the baton only to ninth. At the final stage, Dudchenko shot with two extra rounds and eventually finished ninth.
The Norwegian team won the men's relay. Italy took second place, and Germany completed the top three.
