The best result among Ukrainians was shown by Artem Prima, who took 39th place.
On the night of March 10, at the eighth stage of the Biathlon World Cup 2023/24 in the American Salt Lake City, the men's sprint race took place.
Ukraine was represented in it by five athletes: Taras Lesyuk, Dmitry Pidruchny, Anton Dudchenko, Artem Prima and Vitaly Mandzyn.
Prima showed the best result among Ukrainians in the sprint – 39th place. Dudchenko became 40th, Mandzyn – 48th, Pidruchny – 55th, and Lesyuk – 78th.
The victory in the sprint was won by the Frenchman Eric Perrault, for whom this was the first gold in his career in individual races at the World Cup level. Another representative of France, Emilien Jacquelin, finished in second place, and the top 3 was completed by the Norwegian Johan-Olav Botn.

The stage in Salt Lake City will end on Sunday, March 10, with pursuit races. Women will start at 18:00 Kyiv time, and men – at 19:50.
