Neither of the two Ukrainians who started the pursuit race finished.
On Saturday, March 16, at the final stage of the Biathlon World Cup 2023/24 in Canadian Canmore, the men's pursuit race took place.
Ukraine was represented in it Dmitry Pidruchny (started 10th in the sprint) and Artem Prima (50th).
However, neither of the two Ukrainians finished the race. Pidruchny retired from the race after the first two shooting stages, during which he earned four penalty laps. Prima withdrew early after the third shooting.
The Norwegian Johannes Bjo won the pursuit race, thanks to this, before the last race of the season, he guaranteed himself a triumph in the overall standings and defended the title of the current owner of the Big Crystal Globe. Swede Sebastian Samuelson took second place in the pursuit, and Frenchman Eric Perrault completed the top three.
