Roman's goal and assist helped the “blue-yellows” continue the fight for access to the European Championship.

The Spanish Valencia striker came off the bench in the 81st minute of the match and helped his team make a comeback (2:1).

In the 85th minute, Yaremchuk scored a goal with passes from Efim Konoplya, and three minutes later he delivered a cross to Artem Dovbik, who scored the winning goal.

“Bosnia and Herzegovina, like us, wanted to go to the Euro. They have a very well-organized team, good players. It was a difficult match, but it’s good that everything ended well. We are returning to Poland in a good mood. We know there will be a lot of Ukrainian fans ( at the match with Iceland – approx.), we need to please them. The Ukrainians need a little positive mood now.

Taking the field with Artem Dovbik? I tried to find a free zone for myself. I knew that there were players who can give a good pass. Received a good pass, scored. It turned out fantastic. Good ending. It's good when everything ends well.

An assist in the episode with the second goal? This is my job. When you enter the field as a substitute, you need to strengthen your game. It turned out that I stepped up the game and made an assist to Artem. He needed this goal for confidence. Glad he scored. Moving forward as a team.

Thank you very much to the fans, I miss them. I really want to play in Ukraine with our fans. Thank you for coming. When you play for the national team, it’s only to please them, as well as the guys who are now at the front and holding the defense. I hope they are very happy now. I just want to give them a big bow and thank them for protecting us, my family and friends. I am very grateful to them,” Yaremchuk said in a comment to Suspilna Sport.

We would like to add that thanks to his goal against the Bosnians, Yaremchuk moved into fifth place in the list of top scorers of the Ukrainian national team. Roman scored 14 goals.
