“Minai” unexpectedly beat LNZ in the postponed match of the 17th round of the UPL (video)

The Transcarpathian club won two of the last four matches.

Minai defeated LNZ in the rescheduled match of the 17th round of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL) of the 2023 season /24. The meeting in Cherkasy ended with the score 1:2.

Despite the status of a clear favorite, the Cherkasy club suffered a home defeat. In the 33rd minute of the game, the Transcarpathians were given the lead by Timur Korablin.

In the second half, Zeljko Ljubenovic’s team doubled their advantage – in the 59th minute he scored a goal Denis Ustimenko.

At the end of the match, the hosts scored one goal in stoppage time thanks to the efforts of Arad Bar, but this was not enough to avoid defeat.

Having won two victories in the last four matches, “Minai” (13 points) continues to occupy last place in the Ukrainian championship standings. In turn, LNZ (25 points) is in eighth position.

In the next matches, Transcarpathians will host Oleksandriya on March 31, and Oleg Dulub’s team will meet Rukh away on April 1.
