The first racket of Ukraine Elina Svitolina strong> (No. 17 WTA) successfully began her performance at the WTA 500 tournament in Charleston (USA).
The 29-year-old native of Odessa started at these competitions immediately from the second round, in which she convincingly beat Australian Daria Seville (No. 108 WTA).
The match lasted 1 hour 23 minutes and ended with a score of 6:2, 6:4 in favor of the Ukrainian.
During the entire match, Svitolina made one serve through and made one double fault. Note that the tennis players were supposed to play in the morning, but the match was postponed to the evening due to rain.
