Gracenote analysts for 100 days before the start of the 2024 Olympic Games we updated our forecast for the medal standings of the upcoming competitions in Paris, in which Ukrainian athletes will also take part.
According to this forecast, the team at the 2024 Olympic Games Ukraine can count on 13 medals: 3 gold, 2 silver and 8 bronze.
With this result, the Ukrainian team will be 17th in the medal standings together with the Uzbekistan team.
The largest number of awards At the 2024 Olympics, the USA is predicted to win 123 medals. In second place is China (89), in third is Great Britain (66). The host of the Games, France, is predicted to receive 55 awards and fourth place in the medal standings.
We would like to add that six months before the start of the 2024 Olympic Games, Gracenote predicted 18 medals for the Ukrainian team in Paris: 2 gold, 6 silver and 10 bronze .
Note that Gracenote’s forecast is based on data on the results of the main world and continental competitions after the 2020 Olympics.
Recall that at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, which due to the pandemic coronavirus took place in 2021, the Ukrainian team won 19 awards: one gold, six silver and 12 bronze. With this result, the “blue-yellows” took 44th place in the medal standings.
