 Two Ukrainian referees will work at Euro 2024 matches

Nikolai Balakin and Alexander Berkut were included in the list of referees for the European Championship 2024 in Germany.

Ukrainian referees Nikolai Balakin and Alexander Berkutwill work at the Euro 2024 football matches.

The list of referees who will go to the future continental championship was published by the official UEFA website.

It is noted that Balakin and Berkut will apply for the role of fourth or reserve referee at the European Championship matches.

In total, 18 chief referees will work at Euro 2024: Arthur Soares Dias (Portugal) , Jesus Gil Manzano (Spain), Marco Guida (Italy), Istvan Kovacs (Romania), Ivan Kruzljak (Slovakia), Francois Letexier (Francois) (Netherlands), Szymon Marciniak (Poland), Halil Umut Möller (Turkey), Glen Nyberg (Sweden), Michael Oliver (England), Daniele Orsato (Italy), Sandro Scherer (Switzerland), Daniel Siebert (Germany), Anthony Taylor (England), Clément Turpin (France), Slavko Vincic (Slovenia), Felix Zweyer (Germany) ).

The final tournament of Euro 2024 will be held in Germany from June 14 to July 14.

The Ukrainian national team at the European Championship 2024 will play in Group E, where its opponents will be Romania and Slovakia and Belgium.

The two best teams from each of the six groups, as well as the four best third-place winners, will advance to the 1/8 finals of the continental tournament.

The Ukrainian team will compete for the fourth time in a row at the European Football Championship. The most successful for the “blue-yellows” was the previous Euro 2020, where our team under the leadership of Andrei Shevchenko reached the quarterfinals.
