Fury's father, with a broken head, made a statement after a “bloody” clash with Usik's team

John Fury apologized for his outrageous behavior.

John Fury, father of WBC heavyweight title holder Tyson Fury, commented on the clashwith a member of the world champion's team versions WBO, WBA, IBO and IBFAlexandra Usik.

Fury Sr. hit a representative of the Ukrainian boxer’s team with his head, causing his head to bleed.

Later, the father of the “Gypsy King” asked for forgiveness for his behavior.

“I sincerely apologize to everyone involved. We are who we are. Emotions and tension are running high. He was a very disrespectful guy. If you get close to the space of a struggling person, you will get something. For Respect for my son is important to me, and he showed it.

He remembered my son, so he should have it. Bleeding? It doesn't bother me, it's what we live for, we fight people. This is a common thing for me,” John said in an interview with Seconds Out.

The Usyk-Fury fight will take place on May 18 in Riyadh. The fight was originally scheduled for February 17, but due toinjury , which the Briton received during one of the sparrings, had to be postponed.

The winner of the Usyk-Fury fight will become the first absolute world champion in the heavyweight division in the 21st century.

The last The “absolute” in heavyweight was Lennox Lewis, who won this status in 1999 when he defeated Evander Holyfield.  Then the WBA, WBC and IBF titles were at stake. The WBO belt was recognized as equal in 2007, so the winner of the fight between Usyk and Fury will become. the first “absolute” heavyweight champion in history with four major titles.

It was previously reported that the winner of the Usyk-Fury fight would bedeprived of one of the championship belts.
