The director of the Ukrainian boxer's team commented on the resonant incident.

The conflict between the parties broke out on May 13 in Saudi Arabia. Usyk was giving an interview to Sky Sports when Fury's team approached him and began to interfere with their loud shouts. John Fury, the father of the “Gypsy King”, headbutted a member of the Ukrainian boxer's team, but suffered himself, breaking his forehead to the point of bleeding.
“It’s indicative that Usik’s name releases the inner demons of Fury’s team. And how the aggressor ultimately harms himself. A clear indication of their true emotional state. Usik’s team vs. Fury’s team – 1:0,” Lapin wrote when he published the video incident on his Instagram page.
We add that Fury Sr. has alreadymade a statementapologizing for his behavior. Also appearedvideo of Usik's reaction to his team's clash with the father of the “Gypsy King”.
It was previously reported that a member of Usik's team, who was hit by Fury's father, shared the details of the “bloody” skirmish.
The Usyk-Fury fight will take place on May 18 in Riyadh. The fight was initially scheduled for February 17, but due to an injury the Briton received during one of the sparrings, it had to be postponed.
The winner of the Usyk-Fury fight will become the first absolute champion world heavyweight division in the 21st century.
The last “absolute” in the heavyweight division was Lennox Lewis, who won this status in 1999 when he defeated Evander Holyfield. Then the WBA, WBC and IBF titles were at stake. The WBO belt was recognized as equal in 2007, so the winner of the fight between Usik and Fury will become the first “absolute” heavyweight champion in history with four major titles.
We would like to remind you that the winner of the fight between Usik and Fury will be deprived of one from championship belts.
