The head coach of the Ukrainian Olympic team Ruslan Rotan announced the list of players of the national team to participate in the football tournament of the Olympic Games 2024.
The blue-yellow team included 22 players, including four reserve quotas, the official website of the UAF reports.

Goalkeepers: Yakov Kinareikin (Dnepr-1 Dnepr), Kirill Fesyun (Shakhtar Donetsk), Georgiy Ermakov (“Alexandria” Alexandria).
Defenders: Maxim Taloverov (LASK, Austria), Arseniy Batagov (“Zarya” Lugansk), Ilya Krupsky, Evgeniy Pavlyuk (both ” Vorskla Poltava), Alexander Martynyuk (Alexandria Alexandria), Alexey Sych (Rukh Lviv), Vladimir Salyuk (Chernomorets Odessa).

According to the regulations, players who were born after January 1, 2001 can take part in the Olympic football tournament. Each team can enter only three performers over this age.
The men's football tournament of the 2024 Olympic Games will take place from July 24 to August 9 in seven cities of France: Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Bordeaux, Saint-Etienne , Nice and Nantes.
The Ukrainian national football team will take part in the Olympics for the first time in history. Rotan's team will play in Group B against Iraq (July 24), Morocco (July 27) and Argentina (July 30).
The two best teams from each quartet will advance to the playoffs. If Rotan's team manages to make it to the quarterfinals, then they will compete there with the representative of Group A (France, USA, Guinea, New Zealand).
We would like to add that before the start of the 2024 Olympic Games, the “blue-yellows” will play two friendlies match: with the Olympic teams of Egypt (July 14) and Paraguay (July 18).
