Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz became the Wimbledon champion for the second time in a row.
Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz won the title Wimbledon 2024 champion in men's singles.
In the final, he beat Serbian Novak Djokovic. The decisive match lasted 2 hours 30 minutes and ended with the score 6:2, 6:2, 7:6.
This was the sixth head-to-head meeting of the tennis players . Alcaraz won his third victory and thus equalized the score – 3:3.
Carlos became the Wimbledon champion for the second time in a row. Last year, the Spaniard also beat Djokovic in the final of a grass major, but then he needed five sets to win.
21-year-old Alcaraz played in the final of a Grand Slam tournament for the fourth time in his career and finished each of the decisive matches in your favor. In addition to Wimbledon 2024 and Wimbledon 2023, he also won the US Open 2022 and Roland Garros 2024.
37-year-old Djokovic took part in the final of the Wimbledon tournament for the tenth time in his career. Nole is a seven-time Wimbledon champion (2011, 2014, 2015, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022) and has 24 titles at Grand Slam tournaments.
