“Karpaty” appointed a new head coach: who replaced Myron Markevich

In the elite of Ukrainian football, the “green-white” will perform under the leadership of Vladislav Lupashko.

Karpatyannounced the appointment of a new head coach. He became the head coach of the Lviv youth team (U-19) Vladislav Lupashko.

As head coach, Lupashko replaced 73-year-old Miron Markevich, who has led the Lviv team since June 2023. Under his leadership, the “lions” registered in the UPL, where they will play for the first time since the 2019/20 season.

37-year-old Lupashko headed Ingulets in the 2023/24 season, with whom he won the championship in the First League and qualified for the UPL.

In early June, Lupashko was appointed coach of the Karpaty youth team, but already in July he became the head coach of the adult team of “Lions.”

It is the “green-white” that will open the new season of the Ukrainian championship – in the first round, the Lviv team will meet Rivne Veres on the road on August 3.
