Analysts from Gracenote have published an updated forecast for the medal standings of the Olympic Games 2024 ahead of the start of the competition.
The Ukrainian national team is predicted at the Olympics in Paris 13 awards: 2 gold, 4 silver and 7 bronze.
The USA predicts the largest number of medals at the 2024 Olympics – 112, China is in second place (86), and Great Britain is in third (63). France, which will host the Games, predicts 60 awards.
At the end of May, the same company predicted that the Ukrainian team at the 2024 Olympic Games will win 13 awards: 2 gold, one silver and 10 bronze.
Note that Gracenote’s forecast is based on data on the results of the main world and continental competitions after the 2020 Olympics.
Recall that at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, which was held in 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic , the Ukrainian team won 19 awards: one gold, six silver and 12 bronze. With this result, the “blue-yellows” took 44th place in the medal standings.
The 33rd Summer Olympic Games will be held in Paris from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
