 Ukrainian tennis players learned their opponents at the start of the 2024 Olympics

The Olympic tennis tournament will begin on July 27.

The draw for the tennis tournament of the 2024 Olympic Games took place in Paris. The Ukrainians also learned about their first opponents in singles and doubles.

In singles, Ukraine will be represented by four tennis players: Marta Kostyuk, Dayana Yastremska, Elina Svitolina and Angelina Kalinina. They are all divided into different parts of the draw and cannot play against each other until the quarterfinals.

Angelina Kalinina (Ukraine, WTA No. 47) vs. Arantxa Rus (Netherlands, WTA No. 62)

Doubles tournament

Lyudmyla Kichenok/Nadiya Kichenok – Zhang Shuai/Wang Xinyu

The Olympic tennis tournament starts on Saturday, July 27.

Recall that at the previous Summer Olympics 2020 in Tokyo, which took place in 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic, Svitolina won bronze in the singles tournament.
