Ukrainian tennis players Marta Kostyuk and Dajana Yastremska made a successful start in the doubles at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

In the first match of the In the second round, Kostyuk and Yastremska won in two sets against the Polish duo Magda Linett/Alicja Rosolska. The match lasted 1 hour and 7 minutes and ended with a score of 6:4, 6:1.

In the second round, Kostyuk and Yastremska will play against representatives of Chinese Taipei Xie Shuwei and Cao Chiayi.

Thus, Ukraine will be represented by two tandems in the 1/8 finals of the women's doubles at the 2024 Olympic Games. Earlier, sisters Lyudmyla and Nadiia Kichenok won their opening match, defeating the Chinese Zhang Shuai/Wang Xinyu – 6:1, 6:4.

Note that Kostyuk also reached the 1/8 finals of the 2024 Olympics in singles. But Yastremska failed to make it to the third round.
