Andy Murray has ended his fantastic career in tennis.
Former world number one, outstanding British tennis player Andy Murray played the last match of his career.
37-year-old Murray played in doubles at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris with his compatriot Daniel Evans. In the quarterfinals, the British lost to the American duo of Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul – 2:6, 4:6.
Before the start of the 2024 Games, Murray announced that this Olympics would be the last tournament of his career.

Murray is a two-time Olympic champion in singles (2012, 2016), a three-time Grand Slam singles champion (US Open 2012, Wimbledon 2013, Wimbledon 2014), and a Davis Cup winner (2015).
He is the only two-time Olympic champion in men's singles. No one else has managed to defend the Olympic gold in men's competitions.
