On Sunday, August 4, the names of the next champions and medalists of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris were announced. 20 sets of awards were contested.

On this day, Ukraine won three medals, all in athletics: Yaroslava Mahuchikh and Iryna Gerashchenko won gold and bronze, respectively, in the high jump, and Mikhail Kokhan won bronze in the hammer throw.

A total of 329 sets of medals in 32 sports will be awarded at the 2024 Olympics. The Games in Paris will last until August 11.

Ukraine is represented at the XXXIII Summer Olympics by 140 athletes who compete in 23 sports.

After the ninth day of competition, Ukraine has six medals at the 2024 Olympics: two gold, one silver and three bronze.
