Dynamo Kyiv drew with Rangers from Scotlandin the first match of the third round of qualifying for the Champions League of the 2024/25 season. The match at the Lublin Arena in Lublin, Poland, ended with the score 1:1.

At the start of the meeting, Alexander Shovkovsky’s team actively attacked the opponent’s goal and was close to opening the scoring at the 18th minute. Rangers goalkeeper Jack Butland parried Konstantin Vivcharenko's long-range shot in front of him, and Vladislav Vanat headed the ball into the goal, but did it for offside.

Three minutes later, the Scottish vice-champion responded with a dangerous moment of his own. Ross McCausland moved from the right flank to the center and hit the far post with a shot from outside the penalty area.

And yet, Dynamo went into the break as the leader. In the 38th minute, the Kiev team took the lead after an excellent combination.
