"Blue-yellow" took fourth place in the final.
The Ukrainian men's kayak four finished fourth in the 500-meter rowing final at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
Oleg Kukharik, Dmytro Danilenko, Igor Trunov and Ivan Semykin covered the distance in 1:21.01 minutes, a second slower than Spain, which won the “bronze” (1:20.05).
The “gold” was won by the German team (1:19:80), the “silver” was taken by Australia (1:19:84).
For the first time in history, Ukraine competed in the Olympic Games final in men's kayak fours. In 1996, Ukrainian rowers, competing in this size of boat over a distance of 1000 meters, finished their performance in the semi-finals.
We will add that earlier Ukraine missed the chance to win a medal at the 2024 Olympics in the academic rowing of four sculls, where Evgeniya Dovgodko, Darya Verkhoglyad, Anastasia Kozhenkova and Ekaterina Dudchenko took fifth place in the final.
