Fifth gold in a row: the winner of the men's basketball tournament at the 2024 Olympics has been determined

The US team became the winner of the men's basketball tournament of the 2024 Olympics.

In the final match, the Stars and Stripes defeated the hosts of the competition France with a score of 98:87 (20:15, 29:26, 23:25, 26:21).

The most productive player of the match was the Frenchman Victor Vembanyama – 26 points. The second scorer in the French team was Guershon Yabusele, who managed to score 20 points.

The Americans, who came to the Paris Games with a mega-star lineup, had the most points from Steph Curry, with 24, and he made 8 of 12 three-pointers. Devin Booker and Kevin Durant each scored 15 points, and LeBron James had a double-double: 14 points and 10 assists.
