On the final day of the competition, Ukraine failed to add to its medal tally. Freestyle wrestler Murazi Mchedlidze came close, but lost to Azerbaijani Magomedkhan Magomedov in the bronze medal match.

The XXXIII Summer Olympics lasted from July 26 to August 11. At the competition in the capital of France, 329 sets of medals were awarded in 32 sports.

Ukraine was represented at the 2024 Games by 140 athletes who competed in 23 sports. Our country was represented by the smallest number of athletes in its history at the Olympic Games.

Ukraine finished its performance at the 2024 Olympics with 12 awards: three gold, five silver and four bronze.

With this result, Ukraine took 22nd place in the overall medal count and took 17th place in the number of awards won.

The closing ceremony of the 2024 Olympics will be held on Sunday, August 11. It will start at 22:00 Kyiv time.
