The Lviv club won a "dry" victory over the "sailors".
“Karpaty" defeated “Chernomorets" in the match of the third preliminary stage of the Ukrainian Football Cup of the 2024/25 season. The match at the stadium “Ukraine” in Lviv ended with a score of 3:0.
Even before the break, the “lions” scored twice against the Odessans. In the 33rd minute, Oleh Ocheretko opened the scoring, and then in the 41st minute, Orest Kuzyk strengthened the home team's advantage.
In the second half, the “green-whites” brought the matter to a rout. In the 74th minute, Amvrosiy Chachua scored a goal.
Thus, Vladislav Lupashko's charges reached the 1/8 finals of the Ukrainian Cup. Karpaty will find out their opponent at this stage after the draw. The base date of the matches is October 30.
Karpaty will play their next match on August 26 away against LNZ as part of the 4th round of the UPL. On the same day, Chornomorets will visit Left Bank.
