140 Ukrainian athletes will compete in 17 sports at the Paris Paralympic Games.
The Ukrainian national team has announced the full list of athletes who will take part in the 2024 Summer Paralympic Games in Paris.
The composition of the Ukrainian team was reported to Suspilne Sport by the National Paralympic committee.
Ukraine will be represented at the Paralympics in the capital of France by 140 athletes who will compete in 17 sports. This is a record number of sports in the Paralympic history of Ukraine.
Our country will be represented by the largest number of athletes at the 2024 Paralympics in swimming (37) and athletics (28).

The 2024 Paralympics will be held in Paris from August 28 to September 8.
At the previous Summer Paralympic Games, which took place in 2021 in Tokyo, Ukrainian athletes won 98 awards: 24 gold, 47 silver and 27 bronze. With this result, Ukrainetook sixth place in the medal count and became fifth in the number of awards.

Interestingly, at the 2024 Olympics, which took place in Paris from July 26 to August 11, our country was also represented by 140 athletes. They won 12 medals: three gold, five silver and four bronze. As a result, Ukraine took 22nd place in the medal count and became 17th in the number of awards.
