Due to injury, Artem will miss the matches against Albania and the Czech Republic.
Forward of the Italian “Roma” Artem Dovbyk will not be able to play for the Ukrainian national team in the September matches of the 2024/25 League of Nations against Albania and the Czech Republic.
As reported by the official website of the UAF, the injury, received by Artem while still at the Roman club, did not allow him to fully work in the general group of the national team.
Additional examination conducted in Prague confirmed that it would take more time to fully recover from the injury. Therefore, it was decided to return Dovbyk to the Roma camp, where he will continue to work under the supervision of local doctors.
In the 2024/25 Nations League season, the Ukrainian national team will play in the second-strongest division B. The opponents of Sergei Rebrov's charges in the group will be the teams of the Czech Republic, Albania and Georgia.
In September, the “blue-yellows” will have two matches, both in Prague. On September 7, the Ukrainians will play a nominally home match with Albania, and then on September 10 they will hold an away match with the Czech Republic.
