Ruslan Rotan's team dealt with "Left Bank".
“Alexandria" beat “Left Bank" in a home match of the 7th round of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL) of the 2024/25 season. The match at the Nika stadium ended with a score of 2:0.
The first half passed without any goals. Just before the break, the visitors were left in the minority – in the 45+1 minute, Daniil Sukhoruchko earned a second yellow card and a sending off.
In the second half of the match, Ruslan Rotan's charges took advantage of their numerical advantage and sent two goals into the goal of the elite division newcomer. In the 53rd minute, Ferreira Campos opened the scoring, and in the 68th minute, Artem Shabanov increased the hosts' advantage after a corner kick.

After the victory, “Alexandria” returned to first place in the UPL with 16 points. “Left Bank” with 6 points occupies 11th position.
In the next round of the Ukrainian championship, the Oleksandrians will meet “Kryvbas” away on September 28, and “Left Bank” will host “Dynamo” a day later.
