Chelsea of Ukrainian winger Mykhailo Mudryk defeated West Ham away in the opening match of the 5th round English Premier League (EPL) 2024/25 season. The London derby ended with a score of 0:3.
The hero of the match was Senegalese striker Nicholas Jackson, who scored a double. Already in the fourth minute, he opened the scoring after a pass from Jadon Sancho, and in the 18th minute he doubled it, taking advantage of an assist from Moises Caicedo.
At the start of the second half, Jackson added an assist to his two goals, helping Cole Palmer to score in the 47th minute.
Mudrik spent the entire match on the bench. This season, the 23-year-old Ukrainian has only played in two Premier League matches and has not scored any goals.
