Ukrainian midfielder of Genoa Ruslan Malinovskyi suffered a serious injury in the match of the 5th round of the Italian Serie A against Venezia.
At the beginning of the second half, with the score 0:0, Malinovskyi, who appeared on the field in the starting lineup of the “griffins”, made an unsuccessful tackle, as a result of which his leg twisted ankle.
Doctors appeared on the field and provided first aid to the 31-year-old Ukrainian. He was unable to continue the match. Ruslan was taken off the field on a stretcher.
