Ruslan Rotan's team won their sixth victory in the Ukrainian championship season.
“Alexandria" beat “Kryvbas" away in the match of the 8th round of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL) season 2024/25. The match at the Gornyak stadium in Kryvyi Rih ended with a score of 0:1.
Ruslan Rotan's team scored the only goal at the end of the first half. In the 45+1 minute, Alexander Filippov headed in a pass from the left flank, which was made by the Brazilian Bezerra.

Thanks to this victory, the Alexandrians with 19 points regained their sole leadership in the UPL. Rotan's team is 3 points ahead of Dynamo, which has played one match less.
This season, Oleksandria has won six out of seven matches in the Ukrainian championship and tied once.
Kryvbas suffered its second defeat in the current UPL draw. Yuriy Vernydub's team also has three wins and two draws. The Kryvyi Rih team remained in sixth place with 11 points.
In the next round of the UPL, Oleksandria will host Rukh on October 5. A day later, Kryvbas will play Dynamo away.
