Hansi Flick's team has stopped its winning streak on the domestic stage.
Barcelona unexpectedly lost to Osasuna away in the match of the 8th round of the Spanish La Liga of the 2024/25 season. The match in Pamplona ended with a score of 4:2.
Even before the break, the hosts shocked the Catalans with two goals. In the 18th minute of the match, Ante Budimir opened the scoring, and in the 28th, Bryan Zaragoza strengthened his team's advantage.
At the beginning of the second half, the “blue garnets” reduced the gap in the score – in the 53rd minute, Pau Victor scored.
But in the 72nd minute, the Pamplona team again led by two goals – Budimir converted a penalty.
In the 85th minute, Albert Bretones scored the fourth goal against the “blaugranas”. Hansi Flick's men were only able to respond with a goal from 17-year-old Lamine Yamal a minute before the end of regular time.

Barcelona thus suffered their first defeat in the current La Liga. The Blaugrana continue to lead the Spanish championship with 21 points, 4 points ahead of Real Madrid, which has played one match less. Osasuna (14 points) moved up to sixth place.
