"Liverpool" defeated "Crystal Palace" away in the opening match of the "7th round of the English Premier League (EPL)" season 2024/25. The match at Selhurst Park in London ended with a score of 0:1.
The Merseysiders won thanks to a goal by Diogo Jota in the 9th minute of the match – the Portuguese striker closed a cross by Cody Gakpo in the goal area.
It should be noted that in the second half the Reds were left without their main goalkeeper – the Brazilian Alisson was injured and was replaced by the Czech goalkeeper Vitezslav Jaros in the 79th minute.
