The third round matches of the 2024/25 Nations League will be held on October 10-12.
The Ukrainian national team is playing the current tournament in Division B. The opponents of Serhiy Rebrov's team in the group are the teams of the Czech Republic, Albania and Georgia.
After losses at the start of the League of Nations to Albania (1:2) and the Czech Republic (2:3), the Ukrainians will host Georgia in the third round. The match is scheduled for October 11 in the Polish city of Poznan.

According to the updated format of the League of Nations, a participant in the group tournament in Division B, where the Ukrainian national team will compete, if it takes:
- first place – will rise to Division A;
- second place – will play a play-off for promotion to Division A against the team that finishes third in their Division A group;
- third place – will play a play-off for promotion to Division B against the team that finishes second in their Division C group;
- fourth place – will be relegated to Division C.
The play-offs are scheduled for March 2025.
In addition, through the Nations League, you can increase your chances of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup. The 12 winners of the European 2026 World Cup qualifying groups will directly qualify for the final stage of the World Cup. Another four spots in the world championship will be played out in the playoffs, where the 12 runners-up of the World Cup qualifying groups and the four best winners of the 2024/25 Nations League groups who finish below second place in the qualifying group stage will compete.
