The Briton is preparing to take revenge on the Ukrainian champion for his defeat in the first fight.
Former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury recorded a video in which he addressed the holder of the WBA, WBO, WBC and IBF titles Alexander Usik.
While jogging, the “Gypsy King” said that there are 10 weeks left until the rematch with the Ukrainian, in which he intends to avenge his defeat in the first fight.
“Today is officially 10 weeks until revenge on Oleksandr Usyk. 10 weeks is all I have left to wait. 10 more weeks. The big British train is coming,” Fury said in a video he posted on his Instagram.
The Ukrainian boxer's promoter responded wittily to the ambitious statement from the Briton Alexander Krasyuk. He recalled how Fury received a cut before the first fight with the Ukrainian, as a result of which the fight had to be postponed.
“Friend, please always wear a helmet during sparring,” Krasyuk wrote in the comments under the Briton's video.
The Usyk-Fury rematch will take place on December 21 in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). All titles held by the Ukrainian boxer will be at stake.
Unlike the first fight, this time the title of absolute world champion will not be at stake, since Alexander previously renounced the IBF title. Now it is held by Daniel Dubois, who has already managed to defend it by knocking out Anthony Joshua.
