Real Madrid and France striker Kylian Mbappe is suspected of raping a woman in a Stockholm hotel.
According to the Swedish publication TV4, the unknown girl sought help at a clinic for victims of rape and reported that she had become the victim of a sexual crime committed by Mbappe.
The source claims that law enforcement officers conducted an investigation at the scene of the alleged incident.
“Real Madrid player Kylian Mbappe made a short visit to Sweden last week. After two days in Stockholm, he left the country on Friday afternoon on a private jet. Following the visit, which included, among other things, a visit to a nightclub and restaurants, the Frenchman is now under investigation on suspicion of rape,” the report says.
The 25-year-old footballer himself responded to the accusations on social media, stating that the information was false.
“Fake news! “It's becoming so predictable, on the eve of the hearing, as if by chance,” Mbappe wrote on social media X.
It should be noted that the Frenchman was referring to the court hearing scheduled for October 15 in the case against his former club PSG, which owes him 55 million euros.
Mbappe became a Real Madrid player in the summer of 2024, after his contract with PSG expired. Kylian has played for the Parisians since 2017, when he transferred from Monaco for 180 million euros.
This season, Kylian has already managed to play 11 matches for the Madrid club in all competitions, scoring seven goals and one assist.
