The Spanish national team thrashed Serbia in a home match of the 4th round of the group stage of the 2024/25 Nations League season. The match in Cordoba ended with a score of 3:0.

Luis de la Fuente's team opened the scoring in the 5th minute of the match – central defender Aymeric Laporte scored.

At the start of the second half, the “Red Fury” could have doubled its advantage, but Alvaro Morata missed a penalty.

However, this did not affect the further course of the confrontation. In the 65th minute, Morata rehabilitated himself and scored from open play.

In the 76th minute, the Serbs were left with one man down due to the removal of Strahinja Pavlovic, who received a direct red card.

The winners of Euro 2024 took advantage of their numerical advantage and brought the matter to a rout – in the 77th minute, Alex Baena set the final score.
