Dmytro Bogachev gave his life for Ukraine's independence.

Former Ukrainian youth football player Dmytro Bogachev died in the war against Russian occupiers.

The tragic news was released by the Trostyanets football club, for which Bogachev played in 2020-2021.

It is noted that the death Dmitry was informed by his former teammate at PFC Sumy, goalkeeper Alexander Litvinenko.

At the front, Bogachev was a combat medic. It is known that he previously fought in the area of ​​​​the Avdiivka Coke and Chemical Plant. The fallen soldier is now forever 32 years old.

Bogachev is a product of Sumy football. From 2010 to 2020, he played for PFC Sumy, played 184 matches and scored 35 goals.

Dmytro was the winner of the Second League of Ukraine in the 2011/12 season. In the same year, he was called up to the Ukrainian U-20 national team, for which he played one match.

The most successful campaign for Dmitry was 2014/15. He took part in 27 matches, in which he scored 10 goals. This allowed him to take fourth place in the First League top scorers race.

During his career, he also played for Viktoria from Nikolaevka and Polish Orleta.

Earlier it was reported that the Kyiv football coach Denis Sklyarenko died in the war against the Russian invaders.
