Mikhail scored three goals in the game against Panathinaikos.

Chelsea of Ukrainian winger Mikhail Mudryk defeated Panathinaikos away in the match of the second round of the main Conference League stage of the 2024/25 season. The match at the Olympic Stadium in Athens ended with a score of 1:4.

Mudryk was in the starting lineup for the Londoners and played until the final whistle. The Ukrainian became one of the heroes of the match, scoring three goals at once.

In the 22nd minute, João Felix opened the scoring, taking advantage of a pass from Mudryk. In the 49th minute, Mykhailo scored himself, assisted by Pedro Neto. For the Ukrainian, this is his first goal this season for the London club.

In the 55th minute, Mudryk scored his third goal of the game, again assisting Felix. Four minutes later, Christopher Nkunku scored the fourth goal from the penalty spot against the Greek team.

The home team could only respond with a consolation goal scored by Facundo Pellistri in the 69th minute.

After this victory, Chelsea topped the overall standings of the main round of the Conference League with 6 points. Panathinaikos has one point.

In the third round of the Conference League, Enzo Maresca's men will host the Armenian club Noah, while Panathinaikos will face the Swedish Djurgården away. The matches will take place on November 7.

As a reminder, in the updated format of the Conference League, 36 clubs will play in a single league, where they will play against six different opponents (three matches at home and three away).

The eight best teams of the main stage of the Conference League will reach the 1/8 finals. The clubs that take places from 9th to 24th in the overall standings will play paired play-off matches for a place in the 1/8 finals. The rest will finish their performance in European competitions.
