“Alexandria" defeated the First League club YUKSA from Tarasovka in the match of the 1/8 finals of the Ukrainian Cup of the 2024/25 season. The match at the Bannikov Stadium in Kyiv ended with a score of 1:4.

Ruslan Rotan's team secured victory in the first half, scoring four goals. Rodion Plaksa scored twice. Artem Kozak and Danylo Skorko also scored a goal each, with the latter converting a penalty.

After the break, YUKSA reduced the deficit in the score – Roman Debelko scored, but it was only a consolation goal. The Alexandrians confidently brought the matter to victory.

Thus, “Alexandria” became the second quarterfinalist of the Ukrainian Cup. The day before, Rukh overcame the 1/8 final stage, beating Karpaty in the Lviv derby.

The remaining six matches of the 1/8 finals of the Ukrainian Cup will take place on Wednesday, October 30. In particular, Dynamo Kyiv will play Vorskla Poltava, and Shakhtar Donetsk will fight Zorya Luhansk.

The quarter-finals and semi-finals of the 2024/25 Ukrainian Cup will be held on April 2 and 23, 2025, respectively (base dates).

The final of the 2024/2025 Ukrainian Cup is scheduled for May 14, 2025. The venue for the decisive match should be determined by the UAF Executive Committee.

Shakhtar is the current holder of the Ukrainian Cup. In the final match of the 2023/24 season tournament, the Donetsk club defeated Poltava's Vorskla with a score of 2:1.
