“Polesie" beat “Kryvbas" in the match of the 1/8 finals of the Ukrainian Cup of the 2024/25 season. The match in Zhitomir ended with a victory for the home team with a score of 2:1.
In the 17th minute of the match, Maksym Zaderaka put the Kryvyi Rih team ahead. The Zhytomyr club equalized before the break – Serhiy Chobotenko scored in the 43rd minute.
In the second half, Poliesie snatched victory – Oleksiy Gutsulyak scored the decisive goal in the 72nd minute.

The quarterfinals and semifinals of the 2024/25 Ukrainian Cup will be held on April 2 and 23, 2025, respectively (base dates).
The final of the 2024/25 Ukrainian Cup is scheduled for May 14, 2025. The venue for the decisive match is to be determined by the UAF Executive Committee.
The current holder of the Ukrainian Cup is Shakhtar. In the final match of the 2023/24 season tournament, the Donetsk club defeated Poltava's Vorskla with a score of 2:1.
