The Catalans staged a goal extravaganza in the game with "Crvena Zvezda".

Spanish “Barcelona" smashed Serbian “Crvena Zvezda" away in the match of the fourth round of the main stage of the Champions League season 2024/25. The match at the Rajko Mitic stadium in Belgrade ended with a score of 2:5.

In the 13th minute of the match, Iñigo Martinez put the Catalans ahead. In the 27th minute, the home team equalized thanks to Silas.

Before the break, Hansi Flick's team took the lead again – Robert Lewandowski scored in the 43rd minute.

In the second half, the “blue garnets” brought the game to a rout. In the 53rd minute, Lewandowski scored his second goal in this match, completing a double. And two minutes later, Rafinha scored against the Serbian club.

In the 76th minute, the Blaugranas scored their fifth goal, with Fermin Lopez scoring a precise strike. The hosts were only able to respond with Milson's goal in the 84th minute.

After this victory, Barcelona is sixth in the overall standings of the main round of the Champions League with 9 points. “Crvena Zvezda” is in the penultimate, 35th position without any points.

In the next round, the Spanish club will host French “Brest” on November 26, and the Serbian team will face German “Stuttgart” a day later.

The eight best teams of the main stage of the Champions League will reach the 1/8 finals. The clubs that take places from 9th to 24th in the overall standings will play paired play-off matches for a place in the 1/8 finals. The rest will finish their performance in European competitions.
