"Blue-yellow" have another personnel loss before an important match.
Forward of Kyiv “Dynamo” Vladislav Vanat will not help the Ukrainian national team in the match of the 5th round of the group stage of the League of Nations of the 2024/25 season against Georgia.
The head coach of the “blue-yellows” announced this at a press conference on the eve of the match Serhiy Rebrov.
“Unfortunately, there are many players who have minor injuries. After moving to Dynamo and Shakhtar, there are many tired players, and, unfortunately, Vladislav Vanat will not be able to take part in the match tomorrow, he is still recovering. We hope he will return for the second game,” Rebrov said.
The Georgia vs. Ukraine match will take place on Saturday, November 16, in Batumi, Georgia, at the Batumi Arena stadium. The starting whistle will sound at 19:00 Kyiv time.

Ukraine in the 2024/25 Nations League: results and standings
The Ukrainian national team has already played four matches in the 2024/25 Nations League. Rebrov's team lost to Albania (1:2), lost to the Czech Republic (2:3), beat Georgia (1:0) and drew against the Czech Republic (1:1).
Two rounds before the finish, the Ukrainian team with 4 points occupies the last place in Group B1. The Czech Republic is leading with 7 points. Georgia and Albania are in second and third positions, respectively, with 6 points each.

Before the final matches of the group stage of the Nations League against Georgia (November 16) and Albania (November 19), the Ukrainian national team retains its chances of promotion.
According to the new format of the Nations League, a participant in the group tournament in Division B, where Ukraine competes, will be awarded a place in the group stage. the Ukrainian national team, if it takes:
- first place – will rise to Division A;
- second place – will play playoffs for promotion to Division A with the team that finishes third in the Division A group;
- third place – will play playoffs for retention in Division B with the team that finishes second in the Division C group;
- fourth place – will be relegated to Division C.
